Give yourself the life you deserve.

Integrative Mind & Body Services utilizes neurofeedback and biofeedback therapies to help people maximize their potential, increase self-awareness of their physiological and psychological functioning, and decrease their risk of health problems. Each session is specifically tailored to suit a client’s individual needs.

Biofeedback

helps individuals become more aware of their body’s reactions to stimuli in order to gain control over it. Biofeedback involves monitoring physiological responses, such as heart rate, blood pressure, skin temperature, and muscle tension, and then providing feedback to the client so they can learn to control these body functions.

Neurofeedback

is similar in that it also helps people gain control over their body’s physical functions. However, instead of focusing on physiological responses, neurofeedback focuses on electrical activities in the brain. This is done using EEG (electroencephalogram) technology which records and monitors signals from various areas of the brain.

Quantitative
EEG (qEEG)

brain mapping is a simple, painless procedure where a special sensor cap is placed on your head. With qEEG, the sensors detect brain activity and allow our clinicians to record how the neurons in your brain function and communicate with one another.

Alpha-Stim
Therapy

is conducted with a type of Cranial Electro Stimulation (CES) device that is FDA-cleared to treat anxiety and insomnia. The non-invasive Alpha-Stim device uses two painless ear clip electrodes that deliver low-amplitude electrical current to the brain, which helps to regulate the brain cell’s electrochemical signals and return them to a balanced, normal-functioning state.

Heart Rate
Variability (HRV)

is a form of biofeedback therapy training that involves feeding back beat by beat the heart rate data during slow breathing so that the breathing matches the heart rate patterns. In essence, with HRV, you are training your heart rate to slow down and stay consistent during times of peak stress, emotions, or physical exertion.

Each of these types of therapy uses external machines or sensors to monitor and measure changes in the body (biofeedback) or the brain (neurofeedback).

Integrative Mind and Body Services is a non-profit mental health services organization. Our staff is specifically trained and mentored by certified neurofeedback and biofeedback professionals to help our clients achieve their optimal mental health and performance goals.

What symptoms do biofeedback and neurofeedback help?

Neurofeedback and biofeedback sessions can help aid in relaxation, reduce tension and pain, improve sleep, manage emotional states, reduce blood pressure, assist in pain management, enhance performance and regulate your breathing and heart rate. Each session is specifically tailored to suit a client’s individual needs. Clients can choose to participate in one or both types of sessions based on their needs and goals.

Our clinicians help people maximize their potential, increase self-awareness of their physiological and psychological functioning, and decrease their risk of health problems. These services are non-invasive, innovative, and help us to a higher level of understanding of why individuals experience these difficulties, and how to better cope with them.

Clients who qualify can receive our neurofeedback and biofeedback sessions at no cost to them, through grants, donations and other funding sources provided by our 501c3 organization.
