No. Each client's fitness for these services is determined during the intake and assessment phase of treatment.
These therapies can be used by individuals who are healthy and those who are trying to diminish, reduce or eliminate undesirable symptoms. Through these therapies you can improve memory, focus or even athletic performance.
Clients who attend neurofeedback or biofeedback sessions twice a week tend to experience the most success. We recommend at least one day off in between sessions.
Sessions can be offered weekly or bi-weekly, but that will extend the overall length of time for the treatments to be most effective.
In most instances, neurofeedback and biofeedback are not covered by insurance. We can provide a superbill for reimbursement based on the insurance company’s discretion. As a non-profit organization, we provide these services at no charge through grants and donations for clients who qualify.
Each session is $150 and can be paid by cash, check, charge or HAS/HRA card. Payment is due at the time of service. Other service prices can be found on the pricing page.
While benefits can typically be seen in 5-10 sessions, it is recommended that individuals complete 20-40 sessions to experience more measurable and permanent results.
Some people may experience minimal and transient side effects such as fatigue, nausea, headaches, etc. However, any side effects are generally mild and dissipate within 48 hours of your session. Your clinician will work with you to reduce/eliminate these side effects at each session.

Yes; eating healthier, exercising, minimizing screen time, getting consistent sleep, and appropriate water intake can all help improve overall brain function and health
The database we utilize for analysis- HBI Med- has collected their data in a standardized manner to allow for the highest quality of analyses. As such, we also adhere to their standards, to be sure we are comparing data we collect to have been collected in a similar manner as their database. Collecting to their standards allows a true 'apples to apples' comparison, therefore giving the most reliable results.
